City Clerk Cindy Dye called the meeting to order at 7:00 PM.

 

As to comply with the “Open Public Meetings Act,” Chapter 231, P.L. 1975, adequate Notice of this meeting has been provided in the following manner: The Annual Notice was forwarded to the Asbury Park Press, The Coaster and The Star Ledger on January 6, 2016, and posted on the bulletin board the same date.  All notices are on file with the City Clerk.

Matters from City Council

Council Member Clayton thanked all the organizations who collected coats and toys for the holidays.  She also announced the winners of the decorating contest.  On a personal note she thanked the Police Officer who helped her when she locked herself out of her home.  She wished everyone Happy New Year.

 

Council Member Kendle requested an update of the Westside Community Center at a future meeting.  He wished everyone a Happy New Year.

 

Deputy Mayor Quinn thanked Connie Breech and the Asbury Park Toy Drive for a great job.

 

Mayor Moor also thanked those organizations who assist during the season.  He wished everyone Happy New Year.  He quested the status of the Sunset Lake footbridge.

 

 

Matters from City Manager

City Manager Capabianco had no matters to discuss.

 

 

Matters from City Attorney

City Attorney Raffetto had no matters to discuss.

Council Member Kendle made a motion to open the meeting to the public.  Council Member Clayton seconded the motion.  All were in favor.
