Council Member Chapman wished everyone a happy holiday season and thanked everyone for coming out throughout the year. She continued to thanked the volunteers who serves on Boards and Committees. She indicated that on December 25 Langosta Lounge will be holding a complimentary meal.
Council Member Clayton stated that Community Development, Recreation and the Quality of Life Committee will be holding a winter coat drive. They are looking for any winter wear to be donated for both adults and children. Drop off will be at the 2nd floor of the municipal building in the administrative department. There will be a Winter Coat Giveway on January 13 between 9 a.m. and 12 p.m. at the Transportation Center. She wished everyone Happy Holidays.
Council Member Kendle wished everyone happy holidays and thanked for all the comments that are given to Council throughout the year. Asbury Park Recreation is having a "Give Back" event on Saturday, December 16 at the VFW from 7 p.m. to 12 a.m.
Deputy Mayor Quinn thanked all the Master Plan volunteers. She also thanked Connie Breech, who is a police officer with the City, who threw the Asbury Park Toy Drive, which served 400 families within the City.
Mayor Moor wished everyone happy holidays. He stated that there was a Kwanza event and tree lighting this passed Saturday. He thanked all the volunteers who made it happen. He continued by thanking Congressman Pallone regarding Temporary Protective Services ("TPS"). He thanked the Congressman for his 'No" vote for the conceal and carry act. The Mayor Wellness Committee is having CPR training on December 19 in Council Chambers.
