WHEREAS: The Tax Collector was notified by Mr. Daniel Sciannameo, owner of the property located at 615 Asbury Avenue, Block 2603 Lot 10 that a discrepancy exists between the billing from New Jersey American Water Company and the City of Asbury Park for water and sewer consumption, account 10621505-0; and


WHEREAS, it was made certain that New Jersey American Water Company re-billed for 84,000 gallons due to a cancel rebill which the City of Asbury Park uploaded and billed for 183,000 gallons for June- August 2017 at a rate of $839.45; and


WHEREAS, it has been determined by the City of Asbury Park Tax & Sewer Department that the reading from New Jersey American Water Company should be used for billing; 84,000 gallons of usage at the of 428.60; and


NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Mayor and Council for the City of Asbury Park authorize the Tax Collector to refund Mr. Daniel Sciannameo for the sewer account # 10621505-0 for the 2017 4th QTR sewer billing in the amount of $410.85 (The rate of $4.15 per 1,000 gallons and demand charges in the amount of $80.00) and adjust said account to reflect the new amount of $428.60.
