              WHEREAS, the City of Asbury Park (the “City”) is a constituent member of the New Jersey Intergovernmental Insurance Fund (the “NJIIF”); and

 

              WHEREAS, in connection therewith, the City must appoint a Fund Commissioner, and an alternate Fund Commissioner, to the NJIIF for the year 2018; and

 

              WHEREAS, the Fund Commissioner shall attend regular meetings of the NJIIF on behalf of the City and otherwise serve as a liaison representative of the City to the NJIIF for the ensuing year; and  

 

              WHEREAS, the Mayor and Council wish to appoint Michael Capabianco to serve as the Commissioner to the NJIIF on behalf of the City for 2018, and Kevin Keddy to serve as the alternate Commissioner for 2018.

 

              NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Mayor and City Council of the City of Asbury Park, in the County of Monmouth and State of New Jersey, as follows:

 

              1.              Michael Capabianco is hereby appointed to serve as the Fund Commissioner to

                            the NJIIF on behalf of the City for the year 2018.

 

              2.              Kevin Keddy is hereby appointed to serve as the alternate Fund Commissioner to the NJIIF for the year 2018.

 

              3.              That a certified copy of this Resolution shall be provided to each of the following:

 

                            a.              Michael N. Capabianco, City Manager

                            b.              Kevin Keddy, Deputy City Manager

                            c.              Eric J. Nemeth, Esq., NJIIF

                            d.               JoAnn Boos, CMFO, Chief Financial Officer
