WHEREAS, the City of Asbury Park has vehicles that they have been utilizing for parts and have been stripped down; and


WHEREAS, this items have no value and shall be disposed of; and


WHEREAS, these items to not meet the definition of a Fixed Asset as they do not have an individual value of $5,000.00 or more; and


WHEREAS, the Mayor and City Council hereby authorize the City Manager to dispose of the following vehicles:


2011              Ford              Crown Vic              VIN- 2FABP7BV5BX109361

2008              Ford              Crown Vic              VIN - 2FAFP71V28X159372


WHEREAS, the Mayor and City Council hereby authorizes the City Manager to dispose of the following items:


One Dell Poweredge SC 1420 server (broken)

One Dell desktop computer

One Carrier window air conditioning unit (broken)

Two Panasonic CF-19 toughbooks (beyond useful life)

One Federal PA-300 siren (broken)

One Eventide recorder and battery back up

Three Ferno stretchers (various states of disrepair; antiquated)

One Ferno stairchair (antiquated)

Two portable "Stang" water monitors (antiquated)

One Whelen LED light bar

One 2 1/2" to 5" hose adapter

Miscellaneous lights, mounting hardware and 2 1/2" adapters, caps, plugs and elbows

the following hose which failed 2017 annual testing:

Four 100' 5" lengths

·              One 25' 5" length

·              Three 50' 3" lengths

·              Two 50' 1 3/4" lengths

·              Two 10' 5" hard suctions with strainer


NOW, THEREFORE IT BE RESOLVED by the Mayor and Council of the City of Asbury Park, County of Monmouth, State of New Jersey that the City Manager is hereby authorized to dispose of property that has no value.


NOW, THEREFORE IT BE FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of this Resolution shall be provided to the CFO.
