WHEREAS, the Tax Collector has requested authorization for the cancellation of real estate taxes for persons receiving 100% Disabled Veteran’s Exemption; and

 

WHEREAS, pursuant resolution # 2017-57 has opted out of Paramount Homes Financial agreement to fully disabled veteran; and

 

WHEREAS, the Tax Collector has requested to refund PILOT charges on Block 4202 Lot 3.17 Qualifier C2309 in the amount of $6,002.71 for the 2015 administrative fee and all 4 quarters of 2016 and cancel PILOT billing for as long as the current owner Mr. Steven Levenson is the assessed owner, and

 

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and City Council of the City of Asbury Park, County of Monmouth, State of New Jersey, as follows:

1.) That the Mayor and City Council do hereby authorize the Tax Collector for the City of Asbury Park to cancel taxes for 2017 due to 100% disabled veteran’s exemption.

2.) That the Mayor and City Council do hereby authorize the Tax Collector for the City of Asbury Park to refund the amount of $6,002.71 for the 2015 administrative fee and all 4 quarters of 2016 to Mr. Steven Levenson.
